The Challenge

America's 250th birthday is a milestone that demanded more than red, white, and blue bunting. Central Market customers aren't looking for the usual patriotic fanfare. They're hosting genuine gatherings and want to put something truly special on the table. The challenge was to honor American food heritage with the thoughtfulness and quality Central Market is known for, while avoiding the clichés that dominate every other Fourth of July display.

The Result

The campaign took inspiration from Norman Rockwell, a visual tour across America where iconic regional foods were woven into iconic regional landscapes and monuments. From the seafood shores of New England to the wine region in California, the illustration-led system celebrated the extraordinary diversity of American food culture in a way that felt warm, cinematic, and distinctly Central Market. Because when you have 250 years of the good stuff to work with, you don't need a hot dog.
